Brenda Ray Eichelberger, age 76, passed away on September 11, 2015 in Parowan, UT. She was born on July 21, 1939 in Anniston, Alabama to Alton Devon and Minna Lou (Hand) Harris, their only child.

Brenda attended Miami Edison High School in Miami, FL where she met the love of her life, Dale Eichelberger. As they married and started their family, she continued to educate herself by taking classes at UNLV. She volunteered many hours in her children's classrooms, and was involved in the PTA. She spent her career in banking, retiring as a Branch Manager with Wells Fargo in Las Vegas, NV. In the early 80's, Dale and Brenda had the good fortune to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it's truthfulness. They joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1980. They were sealed in the St. George Temple in 1983. She served in many callings: Young Women's Advisor, Relief Society Teacher, Primary Teacher, Visiting Teacher Coordinator, and Compassionate Service Leader until her passing.

First and foremost, Brenda was an amazing wife and mother. She was a loving friend, loved to serve and never met a stranger. She loved to cook and to eat out. She loved life and she loved the Savior. As an only child, He was her life-long best friend! She loved to read and was in book clubs in Las Vegas and Parowan. She loved yard work and gardening. In her youth, she enjoyed all things family: trips to Lake Mead, waterskiing; trips to Pine valley, UT, camping; she enjoyed trips to Newport Beach, CA and Cambria in Northern California. She was a good tennis player, as well as a bowler. She loved Parowan, her final home, her ward, and this community. She was so grateful for the acceptance and friendship of so many.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Alton Devon Harris and Minna Lou Harris. She is survived by her husband, Dale Eichelberger; her children: Lori White Starr (Parowan, UT), Dana Cook (Eagle, ID) and Danny Eichelberger (Las Vegas, NV); and her grandchildren: Tanner White, Jordan Cook, Michael Cook, Rachel Cook, Elijah Cook, Summer Eichelberger, Keaton Eichelberger, and Miles Eichelberger.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the LDS Parowan 1st Ward Chapel (59 South 100 West, Parowan, UT). A viewing will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 pm at the Church and on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 9:30-10:30 am at the Church. Interment will be in the Parowan City Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
