All Souls Catholic Church parishioner Carol Ann Doxie Roberts of Lake Mary, Florida passed away on July 3rd, 2015. Carol was born in Bayonne, New Jersey on October 31, 1936 to the late Melvin A. Doxie and Mary G. “Jean” Swesso Doxie. She moved to New Smyrna Beach in 1956 and married Harold Roberts of New Smyrna Beach in 1961. Shortly afterwards they moved to Sanford and she has lived in the area ever since.

Carol spent many years as a substitute teacher and volunteer at All Souls School in Sanford. She held several jobs over her lifetime, but her greatest success was as a loving mother and amazing grandmother. She was incredibly giving, donating to many local and national charities.

She was preceded in death by our father Harold R. Roberts; and her brother Robert J. Doxie. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Jennifer Roberts of Orlando and Mark and Vicki Roberts of South Carolina; her sister Vickie and husband Dale Young of Tennessee; her brother Melvin J. Doxie of New Smyrna Beach; three grandchildren, and many other family members.

Funeral Mass was held July 10 at All Souls Catholic Church, 800 S. Oak Avenue, Sanford.
