Bobby Kieser was one of my mentors and was the 963rd Training Officer in 1978 when I was a young 1LT and Captain. I worked with him, again, my last 2-years in Wing Exercises, 2004 - 2006. He was the SAIC rep until they lost the contract. He was a true legend and one of the AWACS originals and was on the first crew, Crew 1 in the 963rd that was trained by the 966th. He was an Officer and a gentleman, a scholar, and a fine Weapons Controller.

Thanks for your nice comments. As his sister, I didn't know much about what he did in the Air Force - but he sure was proud of that AWACS plane.
