Edith Green French Lenhardt , 87, died Wednesday, April 7, 1993. Mrs. Lenhardt was a retired administrative assistant for The Citadel Registrar's Office, Charleston, South Carolina. Born in Blacksburg, Virginia, Edith was the daughter of hotelier Mark Fulton Green and Mary Elizabeth "Mae Edna" Barger Green. She moved to Orlando, Florida in 1988 following the death of her husband, Maurice J. Lenhardt.

Edith was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Winter Park. Survivors: son, Raymond H. French Jr., Orlando; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
