Jerry Lee Danner passed away on April 29, 2016 in Orlando, FL at the age of 74.

Jerry was born on October 15, 1941 in Frankfort, Indiana to Charles Samuel Danner and Anna Marie Lindauer. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1960 and served in the Air Force from 1962 - 1968. Afterward, he worked for the Stewart Warner Corporation in Lebanon and then the Headback Corporation in Indianapolis, which eventually brought him to Tampa and then Orlando.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Kathy Danner, his father Charles Danner who he lost in WWII and his father Joseph McKinzie who raised him.

Jerry is survived by his mother Ann McKinzie, sister Joan McKinzie, brother Mike McKinzie, daughter Lana Jarvis from his first marriage to MarJonna Danner, daughter Kristin Hooks, son Daniel Hooks, son Timothy Hooks, grandsons Alec Jarvis and Nathan Hooks, and granddaughters Alyssa Johnson, Katelynn Johnson, Serenity Zenrick and Madison Zenrick.

Jerry was a talented gardener and photographer. He was a good hearted and caring individual who loved the beach and was passionate about his children and grandkids.

A memorial service is scheduled for May 5, 2016 at 1pm with a beach cookout to follow at Sand Key Park in Clearwater Florida. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Jerry’s life.

Jerry was a great guy. Will miss him.

To the family, I'm sorry I couldn't attend the celebration of life for Jerry but know you are all in my prayers. I do believe Jerry is now with Kathy somewhere on a beach in heaven. He will be missed, he was a Great guy.
