Moundville- Leonard W. "Toots" Barks, age 79 of 475 Duncan Loop Rd., Moundville, died May 22, 1998, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m. at Memory Chapel with Bro. Jerry Koster and Bro. Don Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Barks is survived by his wife, Ruth K. Barks of Moundville; daughter Barbara P. Pomery and Husband Paul of Mich.; son, Leonard R.Barks and wife, Carole of Mich.,brother, Floyd Barks of Moundville: grandchildren, Janel Sauder, Jeff and Chris Barks; great-grandchildren, Kayla and Samatha all of Mich.

He was a loving husband, dad and grandpa who loved fishing and getting together for cook-outs at the camphouse with his many friends of the Stewart community. He enjoyed helping with building Community Baptist Church when he could and loved the people there.

Pallbearers will be Curtis Guillo, Johnny Windham, Buddy Windham, Kenny Ferndaz, Sonny Payne, Jeff and Chris Banks.

Honorary pallbearers are relatives, friends and neighors of Stewart and Moundville, nurses and Dr.'s of MICU DCH Hospital.

The Family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7-9 p.m. at Memory Chapel Funeral
