Richard Allen Dean, age 82, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2015. He was born April 28,1933, to William Burnald Dean and Florence Bullock Harman. He leaves behind his loving wife of 62 years, Sharon Ann Denney, children (Glen) Debra Eigenbrod, (Donald) Sandra DeNoon, (Gary) Stacy Gardner, and Richard (Tammy) Dean Jr. Throughout his life he was a loving husband and father. He was a Realtor, an entrepreneur, but his primary love was flying. He flew for 57 years. He once had an engine catch fire on a twin engine airplane with his family on board. The control tower didn't think he would make the landing since two other twin engine airplanes crashed a few months before, also with engine failure. Richard landed safely. FAA recorded his technique to show future pilots how to safely land a twin engine airplane with an engine problem. He has lived an exciting life. Richard was a temple worker and has held many other church callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He loved the gospel and shared it with anyone who would listen. He will be greatly missed by his family and all those who love him. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Newcastle Cemetery, under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
Tribute compliments of Southern Utah Mortuary.
