Robert John Erhart was the type of person you met once and you couldn't help but immediately like him. Funny, silly, smart, crazy, polite, respectful...all these words are descriptions of Robbie, but none of them can sum up the amazing young man he was. Robbie was born in Buffalo, New York on March 14th, 1990, to Lea and Terry. Although his parents divorced when Rob was eight-years-old, he had plenty of love in his life from his family. He is survived by his parents; his step-parents, his siblings, Chris, Kelly, Hayley, Natasha, and Chelsea; his aunts, Robin, Katrina, Mary, Shirley, and Peggy; and his uncles, Dan, Jerry, Mike, and Pat, as well as his grandfather, Bob English. Robbie and his family moved to California when he was a baby. From there, Robbie lived overseas in both Thailand and Indonesia. He moved to Orlando in 1998 where he made many friendships and touched so many lives with his infectious smile and caring nature. There weren’t many people who stayed sad in Robbie’s presence. Robbie was the type of guy who would absolutely insist that those loved ones he left behind reach out to one another and be good to each other. Robie graduated from University High School in 2008. He played all four years on the UHS water polo team and was named MVP both his junior and senior years. Who could ever forget the Senior Olympics and Robbie's winning team "The Ruff Ryders" or his stint as a Powder Puff Cheerleader, or his spirit at UHS football, baseball, and basketball games. At the time of his death, Robbie was a student at Valencia Community College. He worked part-time at Publix. Robbie loved life and relished in having fun with his friends, fishing, sports, traveling, and listening to music. He loved spending time with his family, some of whom were biological and many of which were “adopted,” as his friends’ families loved him as well. Chad, Jay, Javi, Alex, Brandon, Colin, Nick, John, Jimbo, Ryne, Brian -- were just some of his best friends whose own families were Rob's and vice versa. Robbie died after a terrible car accident on January 24, 2009, with his mom, brother Chris, sister Kelly, and Aunt Robin by his side. We rejoice in knowing that Rob is with our Lord, and we all look forward to meeting him again in the Kingdom of Heaven.
