Rev. Edward Martinez, 70, of Orlando, FL was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He went to Bible College in Puerto Rico, then moved to Miami before establishing his family and ministry in Orlando, FL giving 47 years of service to his community as a Pastor, reaching out and making an impact on people's lives, creating youth and children's programs to help them live better lives, teaching and counseling couples, and preparing leaders for the ministry. After a full life of ministry with the Assemblies of God, Rev. Martinez went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Palm Sunday, March 28, 2021. He is survived by his loving family. His wife of almost 50 years; Raquel Martinez. His 4 children; Rebecca Martinez Soto, Aby Martinez Jordan, Jonathan Edward Martinez, and Kelly Garriga Martinez. As well as two sons in law; Josue Soto and Ottoniel Garriga Martinez. 7 grand children; Giovani, Amaris, Caleb, Jillian, Jonathan, Annalise and Elijah. One great grandson; Jett Liam. As well as his 6 siblings and their spouses; Marie Sifford, Ruth and Jose Vazquez, Ana and Gilbert Torres, Peter and Isa Martinez, Benjamin Martinez and Neftali and Sarah Martinez.
