Ray passed away at age 66, a Tuesday, July 13th 2010 at Middlesex Hospital with his children by his side. he was the oldest son of Ovedia Johnson Jensen of Kenmare, ND and the late Raymond O. Jensen. Ramon was born in Kenmare on April 17, 1944. He attende Kenmare schols and was a 1962 graduate of the high school. His first name is a family tradition of being either Raymond or Ramon rather than using a junior to distinguish father and son.
After graduation from high school he attended Business school in Minot and then enlisted in the U.S. Army. He served as an Army Military intelligence officer and spent significant time in Korea during the Korean Conflict in the 1960s. After discharge from the army he worked in various security managment positions for a number of east oast compnaies including Montgomery Ward and Ann Taylor.
His children are Raymond O Jensen, Margo M Jenson and Caryn A. Jensen. His brothers are Rolf, Craig and Curtis. Curtis and a sister, Margo, predeceased him.
He married Christine A. Ciaramitaro in Saginaw, Michigan in 1972. They divorced about 1997.
