Kendrick "Ken" Bascom Melrose departed this earth on May 3, 2020. He was born on July 31, 1940 in Orlando, Florida to Henry Bascom Melrose and Dorothy Lumley Melrose. He was seven years junior to his brother Robert who died with his new wife in a tragic accident when Ken was in college.

Elinor Powell Williams was born on December 1, 1944 in Oakland, California to Thomas and Delilar Powell. She attended Chicago Public School, Chicago Teachers College and Atlanta University where she graduated with a Masters Degree in Library Science.

On May 9th, 2020, after a brief illness, Andrew John Griffith, age 33, recently of Altamonte Springs, died of natural causes at the Advent Health Center. Andrew, or Drew as he was known by many of his friends and business associates, was born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 29th, 1986. He attended elementary and early secondary school in Franklin Park, PA, in the North Allegheny School District.

It is hard to believe that the extraordinary, brave personality and the warm heart of such a remarkable woman is not with us anymore. Her life, full of personal and professional achievements was cut short during the Christmas Holidays after a few days stay at a Bulgarian hospital. Family and friends are still trying to find out the reasons for this sudden and profound loss.

Preston Erle Phelps, Jr., age 82, of Merritt Island, Fla. known as "Tony," passed away on October 9, 2019. He was born on February 1, 1937 in Pittsburgh, Pa. to the late Preston Erle and Marie (Wilmot) Phelps. He is survived by his spouse Mary Elizabeth (Gmitter) and two sons, Andrew (Jonelle) Phelps of Portland, Ore. and Christopher (Katie) Phelps of Pittsburgh, five grandchildren, and a brother and sister, Peter and Paula Phelps.

LAKE CITY, FLA. - Mr. Larry Dennis Rogers, age 71, of Lake City, Florida, died Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at his residence following a sudden illness.
Mr. Rogers was born in Mobile, Alabama on March 1, 1948, and lived in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and Seffner, Florida before moving to Lake City, Florida in 1994. He worked as a meat merchandiser for over 50 years. His most recent employment was with SuperValu, Inc. of Quincy, Florida for over 27 years. Mr. Rogers enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and Alabama football.

Marjorie Kirkland Nichols of Sharp Court, Eustis, Florida, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2019. Marjorie was born in Miami, Florida, but grew up in Eustis. Marjorie moved with her husband Howard to Vestal, New York, after they married, returning to Eustis with her family in 1960. She was the secretary and bookkeeper at Eustis Elementary School for over 25 years.

For her dear family and friends that would like to share a memory or leave a comment on how much she was loved and how much we miss her or a fond memory of how she impacted your life please feel free to do so.
Mildred Clarke was born July 10, 1948 in Edison, Ga to Rosa L. and Milton Reed SR.
Mildred accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She was a devoted mother , sister and grandmother.
She has been deeply missed by all who knew her.
